Drift Out West was made for gathering. On eleven acres along Onion Creek in Driftwood, people come together for weddings, dinners, and celebrations that move with the land rather than against it — a ceremony in the oak grove, a long table set under the trees, the whole party drifting out to the porch as the sun goes down. It sits about twenty minutes from Austin, where the Hill Country opens up and the pace slows down.
It holds many kinds of gatherings: micro-weddings and ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, retreats and corporate offsites, reunions, and quiet celebrations among family and friends. The mobile chapel, the gardens, the covered deck, and the open prairie give you room to shape a day around your people instead of a fixed script. And because this is a living landscape we tend year-round, it’s a place to return to — not one to stage once and leave.
